Top prop nut keeper. Not sure if that’s the right nomenclature.

Looks like it would make a nice wire holder

It's actually a two-part question. The answer to the second part is "an American 25-cent coin." (You're welcome.)

For open cars beginning in 1920. Before then, the side curtains were held in place with straps that went around the side lamps. In 1920, open cars that were equipped with starters and generators did not have side lamps, so Ford had to have a new way to attach them.

Dean's quiz part is too small to be a side curtain hook!

Try again....

Dean' example is lying on a 50 cent piece, not a quarter . . .

I guess my first post didn't show, that part goes in the coil box to keep the carriage bolt for the electrical connection from turning ;)

That's no half-dollar!

Read the legend on right side....

Hint....that little square hole is for a little carriage bolt, and seems to measure on the face of that quarter about 3/16"

I say also it’s from the coil box. One on each side connects the wires from the switch to the front mag and battery terminals.

Very Small wrench for the VERY small square nut on an experimental Holley NG carb... Ford tool # 5-Z-.0003261. When they went with the NH they decided it was unnecessary.
