Thanks for that, Rob. An awesome machine. Always enjoy your videos - both the content and the little extra production tidbits. :D

Cool! Sounds about the same as when I started it. I thought it might quiet down a bit. Did you make a different breather?

Kim,
It’s quieter, although the audio on the phone video may not be very accurate. Kept everything the same, however put in slightly taller pistons. Compression is about 55 lbs now (was on average 45 before). It seems “stronger,” although we’ve not tried it much and starting slow with the break in.

For those of you wondering if Rob made it to Richmond with the B. He did and it was well worth the wait. What a beautiful car. It won what I’m sure will be the first of many trophies. Rob also brought along his K and his racer. A big thank you from the MTFCA and those here in Richmond to all of you guys for bringing your cars for everyone to see.

Thank you Jerry,
Speaking for all the Early Ford participants, we had a great time. Great car show and events made the Homecoming an event to look forward to in the future. I hope to be back next year and participate in the tours too.

Rob, thanks for the pictures of the early Fords. I hope to attend this show in the future.

Thanks, Rob and others sharing your Homecoming posts.

Rob, is the 'Green' paint on the '05-'06 F and the '07 R a custom color mix or is it available from the paint supplier? If commercially available, do you mind sharing the information and source? Thanks, jab35 at cornell dot edu

I sent an email to Peter at Fawcett Restoration. He usually tries to find a “on the shelf” color so we can retouch things. I’ll get back to you.
Cheers,
Rob

James,
That was fast. From Peter: “The green is code #5223A and the yellow is code #2425A.
We get our paint from Carquest.”
