Two new driving videos Newbies should watch for shifting timing. He's barely through the intersection when he shifts, retard the spark and take your time. It's not a race. Great sound and visuals. Thanks Steven, Sorry Scott C.

Fun
that video should be mandatory watching for anyone new to driving a T.
If you already know how to drive a T and are certain that one must scream through 1st gear, honestly, you really don't know how to drive one, (at least as intended) and the video will be useless. Sadly, there are a lot of bad teachers and even more unusually good pupils.
If the light turns green and you're still in 1st gear by the middle of the intersection, you've stayed in 1st gear almost too long...and this video is a great example of that, and driving correctly.
well done sir, and congrats!

This is one of several good Model T videos he has done. For me, the most impressive part of this one is the lack of wind noise. It's hard to shoot video in an open car without the distracting racket of wind hitting that little microphone. There's no hint of that here.

I like watching Steven's videos too. It nice to know that I am not the only crazy guy driving around in a Model T with a GoPro!!

Nice video .......
Scott, there are some more crazies who drive around with go-pros. Our go pro is almost worn out from too many drives

Thanks for the kind words everyone, and thanks for watching my videos! it's nice to know they aren't just transmitted into the ether. I'm planning to do a Behind the Lens video on my in-car filming techniques. I tried many things before I found a way to get decent audio and video in the open car at 'full' speed. But don't hold your breath - it will get done whenever, sometime, eventually, probably.

Steven always has some good info in his videos and the filming is top notch. A smooth shift in a T is a thing of beauty. My favorite shifting sin is
when a driver lets the engine rev madly as he passes thru neutral, then hits high with a neck snapping jerk.
