While looking over the bones of my Centerdoor I’ve noticed that the windshield was never drilled for a wiper to be installed
I assume the car was built and sold without one
What gives?

Re: Windshield wiper
I don't know about centerdoors, but they didn't start drilling holes until 1925 on open cars.

Re: Windshield wiper
Thanks. I’ve also read somewhere that closed cars originally didn’t come with wipers until way after my car was built.

Re: Windshield wiper
Yep, Ford was late to the 'accessory game', of course many aftermarket wipers for open and closed Fords were made too.
For the late '24- and the model year 1925, open car upper windshield frames were factory drilled for a wiper hole, and two mirror bracket holes.

Re: Windshield wiper
The service bulletin mentions a dash light. I have that. But no holes for a rear view mirror either

Re: Windshield wiper
I’d love to get my hands on an original Ford wiper and mirror
