Received my U&J carburetor rebuilt by Stan Howe this afternoon. It looks great and I’m anxious to “give it the gas.” Stan has said he is slowing down in his rebuilding business and I’m thankful he was able to complete mine before hangs up the towel.

LOL .. I just went out to the garage to fit this carburetor to a spare engine and discovered the intake manifold I bought for it a year ago won’t actually work. The holes line up to the block ... but it won’t clear the exhaust manifold. So, I'm in the market for a manifold that will work. Anyone have a spare? I wonder what this one was for. Hmm

Would you post a picture of the other side of the carb? Thanks!

Here is a picture of the other side of both the carburetor and the manifold. As I posted earlier I bought this manifold from someone on the forum over a year ago to go with this carb, but now that it’s back in my hands I discovered that it will not clear the exhaust manifold. So,I’m looking for an intake that will work with a U & J carburetor. I’ll sell this for someone who wants one for display if anyone is interested.

Make a header and then you can run that intake...

Might be easier to find / use the correct manifold ... right? It’s not like they are impossible to find. I imagine adding a header would put the geometry in a place that causes other fitting problems.
