I believe the ‘09-‘16 muffler with 2 cast ends and tail pipe to be the heaviest of all 3 muffler styles. With a friend holding it below the frame rail, installation of 2 bolts and tightening of nuts is relatively easy. But if you’re the only ‘old car guy’ in the county, this is how I adapted:..Take the sewn loop end of a lariat and droop it over the right frame rail in the vicinity of the muffler location. Now insert the other end of the lariat and pull it through until you can actually insert the heavy muffler in the loop and tighten it to the frame. A short rope tail will be better than a long one. I looped the tail over the frame rail again and tied it off to the torque tube. This enables me to use two hands to insert bolts in the frame and muffler holes and tighten the nuts. Then simply remove the rope fastening the muffler to the frame rail….or just use 2 zip ties..

I just use a tractor muffler. Weighs about a pound.
