Compression Gauge

Meant to post this on the forum but I got it into parts. This is a hand held compression gauge with a rubber tip that you hold on the spark plug hole. The gauge is made by NEIHOFF and not sure about the rest of it. It has a hollow handle by the gauge and a T-bar closer to the tip to hold it down. There is an extra tip and rubber washers inside the handle.
We tried using it but my daughter could not hold it tight enough while I hand cranked. We got 25 lbs on the first stroke but compression would blow by the tip on second and third strokes so could not get a good reading. This was a dry reading as it has been more than 50 years since I have run it. No valves stuck and has compression on all cylinders.
Does anyone else have a gauge like this?
I need to find my hosed gauge with an adapter to 1/2 inch and use it. Still packed away from Moving cross country and lack of space to unpack all of my
parts and things until I get my trailer moved out.

I have one that is similar. It is just the gauge connected to the rubber tip via a brass fitting. It does not have the handle or steel hose.
