Look for very good used ones. The new ones don’t fit right.

Vintage Rims in Australia makes them. Steve does really nice work and stands behind his products.

If it doesn’t fit well, all you have to do is send it back half way around the world…

Adam, that's not the way a recent problem wit a clincher rim was handled. The maker simply volunteered to send a replacement. Some businesses are exemplary in their customer service.

I have 2 sets of them from Steve Hood in Australia. One set is on my 26 Coupe and the second set, I have not used yet. They are still in the packaging.

I got a set from Steve and they fit great. It was an easy transaction and it only took eight days to get to Nebraska.

I’m speaking from many years of experience and seeing several sets over the last 20 years… I’m speaking from My own experience working on T’s professionally for 20 years. Not a recent “story” on the forum… I personally took a pair of them to the scrapyard ten years ago because they didn’t meet my quality standard nor my customers. They might have functioned just okay on something that didn’t get used much, but JUNK on something that would see a couple thousand miles or more per year.

Adam, 20 years ago Steve Hood at vintage Rims Australia was not operating the business he runs today. If you had problems with rims bought in the past, I trust you made contact with the supplier to solve the problem. To link dissatisfaction with products you bought 10 years ago from a different manufacturer, is hardly fair on a different business of today.

How many have you bought recently and how was the fit?
