Fantastic I was hoping someone would take advantage of your generous offer on a rare piece of model T history.

Brother John:
i am glad to see this go to someone who is experienced with model T trucks ... this is a very good basis for a unique build ... can be almost any vintage configuration ... i was told that it was a school bus in the Boulder county school district ... not sure how a person could ever verify that ... i got this with a GREAT engine and trans. unit ... i would guess that both the engine and trans. was very nearly new ...probably a service replacement ... anyway it has a new home in western Kansas ... always an optimist Gene French

I agree, Gene, and what a deal... not only does it not go to a scrapper, but for the cost of hauling a trailer and 35 miles in gas, someone got one HECK of a cool project! Any time this happens makes me a happy camper!!!!

this is very cool to have an individual interested in this chassis , based on it's past history and potential ... to me this brings to mind my youth , i grew up in the region where this ( possibly school bus ) was used , what an adventure it must have been to ride in this to school ... the mountains in this region were still very difficult to travel when i was young , still many rough and very steep dirt roads ... this must have been quite a ride in the late 1920's ... always an optimist Gene French

A few pictures of our swapmeet ... NOT a whole lot of Model A or T parts ... 2 nice A cars , a rumble seat coupe that was an origional Fort Collins car , a sport coupe , was 1 model T touring car ... mostly newer model cars and trucks and heavy parts ... was some smaller T items like carbs , lights , generators and starters ...
i did purchase 6 sets of T connecting rods from ron jackson and 3 model A motor blocks from J.D.Bernard ...
will try to add photos ...oops ,file size too large ... will re-size later
always an optimist Gene French

we used to see bison heads in the prairie here in northern Colorado or Wyoming ... a rare sight anymore ... you never know what you will find at a swapmeet ... possibly the most unusual item at this meet was a Lloyd automobile ... i think it had a 650 cc engine ... less power than a model T ! always an optimist Gene French

Ah yes a Lloyd, they are not uncommon over here, 'zee Dzjermans' built quite a lot of those little cars in the late forties and fifties, they were about all one could afford to buy, and gas was still 'on stamps' after the war so small engines were the thing back then.
The german term for these was 'Kabinenroller'
Lloyd even had one of the first MPVs on the market even before the term existed, also 'powered' bya tiny twostroke, here's one:
