Rear roll up flap question

Post by Dallas Landers » Wed May 15, 2019 5:34 pm

I ordered enough material to make the rear flap for the Martin Parry cab. Can I use the clear plastic made to protect the glass in sand blasting cabinets? Its flexible and tuff. I need to determine the size of window if possible. Maybe Tim Morsher will know the size and shape.

I would recommend duct tape, 2 layers close to the work areas.

I think the blanks used to protect blast cabinet glass are rigid vinyl. If you plan to sew through it (?? I'm not sure what you're making for the MP cab) It may shatter. For durability of a "light" in a top material curtain, I'd think it best to use the flexible clear vinyl used in convertible tops, it will last as long as the flap.

Dave Hanlon is hooking me up with the right stuff.
By Tims post of MP cab, maybe 12 x 20 rear window?
