I have a 21 touring body on my 15 that I want to remove because I want a different stile body.
The body has a so-so paint job, new seat upholstery, front and back, new two man top with repaired bows and safety glass windshield.
New tack rail wood, corners and some of the wood replaced in the body prior to upholstery.
No cowl lights or tail lights.
Rear view mirrors on each side and in the middle of the windshield.
Looks real nice from 20 feet away.
All you have to do is bolt it down on your frame and you have a nice touring driver.

WHAT WOULD YOU CONSIDER THIS SETUP TO BE WORTH?

Jeff

I think that is a great estimate...and for the fellow who just bought a car with the bottom 6" missing and wants a "project", take it from someone who spent too much time saving too little history and jump at this opportunity if it presents itself to you...

Depends on the condition of the underlying wood frame. If the wood is rotted, and the body is out of alignment, it won’t be worth much. Jim Patrick
