Well after 3 weeks good cylinders, good rings, good clean fuel, good spark now to get compression so the engine will start. Valves need redone Did 300 revolutions with grinding compound on number one cylinder decided need to regrind a good block seal face and buy new valves and springs The problem is where to buy a tool to resurface the block valve face ????

These people are very nice and know which cutter heads to sell you to do a T. Just tell them and someone will come to the phone that can help.

Bit of caution on using adjustable pilots supplied by Neway. If any speck of dirt gets into the spline, you wont get the cutting head correctly aligned. I don't know if they make the right size solid pilots for both T oversize guides, since I purchased the adjustible ones. If I had to do it over, I'd go with the solid pilots. If Neway doesn't have them, I'd check other suppliers. Away from home now, but I think have a catalogue of another source, but don't remember their name. If interested, email me at rgould1910"at"comcast.net.and I'll find the catalogue when I return in a day or so.

EXCELLENT and correct point! I have trouble making the adjustable guides work perfectly, too. You can purchase any solid guide you want, though, and I have subsequently invested in a number of them. Very good of you to make that point.
