early engine pans after 1910

who has a good reference to the early engine pans. I have several early ones and I want to know the years used. One is a 3 rivet (front piece).
Just over ten years ago, Mark Herdman did quite a study of the pan/crankcase evolution. He posted a wonderful few threads on the subject. Which I managed to re-find after my computer crash about six years ago that wiped out over a thousand bookmarks I had collected.
