I am looking for information on a Rajo Speedster Race car that raced in the Dover Ohio area In the early 1980's it was car number 4 and the dash has event win badges from 1984. Trying to get the history and possibly photos from back then.
I would like to restore it back to how it was.

Car has lowering brackets front and rear frame is shortened 2 inches.
Engine has Rajo cylinder head Winfield up draft carb deep sump oil pan and front mount Eisermam magneto.

Having a look at the dash plaques would help. The AARA (antique auto racing association) was big in Ohio during that period. Most of the drivers/owners have passed. They did publish a small magazine/newsletter you may have some luck searching the internet for issues. Dan Price I believe was active back then (http://www.dan4banger.com/). A caution, these cars were raced on dirt tracks so often the rear ends were locked (welded spiders)
