Have you ever seen a $350 coil before?

Anyone ever seen a Model T coil that was worth $350.00? A model T friend just alerted me to this Macs catalog page. Unless it's a spoof or a big blunder, they are trying to sell Model T coils for that price! What's the story?

Set of 4 with new boxes, not a bad price.

I think that is actually price for each. But consider that these appear to be totally NEW coils and fully tuned up.
And nobody is forcing you to buy them. Not everyone is capable of rebuilding a set of coils (and that is after you have found them) and then you need the equipment to properly tune them up. No I won’t be buying them, but I’m glad they are available!!

Les

it's for 4...or they have them for $95 each

a casual search for the base "T" part number at MAC's brings up several different kinds of coils, all for different prices depending on Heinz, KW, etc.

Yes you are right. Looks like a deal to me!!
I see the Heinze are $210.00 each.
I have a complete Jacobson Brandow box and coils.

If you read the add it’s called a coil kit consisting of 4 coils. That’s not a bad price for 4 coils with KW points.
Macs uses the word kit in several grouping of T parts if you go through their catalog.
