1911 left side steering arm part#

Quick question for a 1911 Model T left side steering arm. Should the part number be T270 or the T270 A, I have both want to make sure I put on the correct one. The car has wrong spindle on it, must have a problem long time ago. still looking for a spindle also.

Tim,
Is one of the steering arms for your spindle have the integrated hole for the speedometer?
My left steering arm is marked T-270-F with a TW mark
My right steering arm that has a hole for the speedometer bracket is marked T-282-F and a TW mark. Both of these arms are in early spindles with a DB mark.
To my understanding the arms can be swapped for either side, especially important if you had a Right hand drive controls.

The correct name is spindle arm!

The right side is correct and has the hole for speedo. The left side has the wrong spindle and spindle arm.
Here is a picture of the arm. Car was built mid Oct. Just try to get it close to correct since I have 2 parts to choose from.

Tim, the C over H mark was common on the forgings on my Canadian sourced 1915 model T. It was suggested it was forged by Cleveland hardware. The TW mark is likely earlier, a Transue Williams forging. As far as I know, they are interchangeable, so unless you are anal about such details, there should be no problem in using either, and swapping it out at a later date.
