Could someone please share with me the dimensions of a 1912 Heinze coil w x d x h and the dimensions of the inside of an original Heinze coil box. I have a coil box that appears to be a reproduction Heinze box with no coils. Just not sure if it was made for Heinze coils to fit in. I know the contacts for a ford or KW coil does not line up. Thanks for the help.

2-5/16” X 3-1/16” X 5”
Spool is 2” X 3-7/8” - 8 sections. 5/16” wide. With 7/8” hole down middle.
Wood is 1/4” thick on each side except where it goes down to
1/8” thick where the coil resides.

You’re Welcome! As you can see they drilled the column for the coil after the box was assembled. They didnt drill all the way through either! They stopped about 1/2” shy of the bottom!
Notice the lip!
