The MTFCA would like to welcome any and all Model T enthusiasts to visit our tent located in the chocolate field at C4Q 34 to C4Q 39. Stop in to chat with some of your board members, buy a new T-shirt or a hat, or just rest your feet for a while. As we have done in the past, we will have a gathering of forum members on Tuesday at 3 o’clock to put faces to names and hopefully solve any club problems you may have. We will also take a group picture to be included in the Vintage Ford. See you there!!

Here's my observations of "club tents" at Hershey... for what it's worth...

Not all, but most club tents I've seen, seem to be a gathering/hangout spot for a small group, (clique), of people to sit around and chat while spending little to no regard or attention to passers by. Even those who may pause briefly at the tent, hoping to attract some attention, while receiving none. Some of the best club tents will have members facing and engaging the crowd, asking, "do you have a Model T?", "are you a member?", "would you like to join us?", or handing out past issues of club magazines, with membership applications tucked neatly within.

Don't take this wrong. This is NOT a criticism of MTFCA or its presence at Hershey. This is, as I mentioned, my observations of some club tents. The wasted potential benefits of any club's presence at Hershey just frustrates me sometimes. As I said, "for what it's worth." Thanks. :)

The MTFCA Heart of Delaware Chapter President and Secretary will be there and hope to visit a few other club members during the week!

Hershey is kind of like a family reunion or old home week, you often have an opportunity to meet and visit with old friends, even if you don't buy anything!

I'm excited to meet some forum members in person and thank them for the good advice and kind words over the past year. I'll be there on Tuesday with the club members that helped me pull and reinstall my engine.

I’d like to meet some names with faces but I will be there on Wednesday to do my browsing with the man who gave me my Centerdoor project.

I only need four fenders to have all of the car. I have everything else

Hope to be back some day, but not this year. Here is a picture from 2018 where I met with quite a few "VIP"s ;-)
