Hi, I was made more aware of LBJ's very original 1910 Model T Donated by Henry Ford II by this forum. We visited the LBJ childhood home and ranch in Johnson City this weekend and there it was! It is on loan from the LBJ presidential library. These pictures are as close as I could get to it.

We live about abt a 2 hr drive from the LBJ presidential library and took a short trip there several years ago. I remember seeing the car and thinking it wasn’t exactly black but it seemed like it was a dark bluish black. I read Perry Gobles paint description but don’t remember seeing what the color was. After a 100 years it probably has changed a bit even if it is originally black. But it is a pretty much original car as I remember it when I saw it. Maybe I’m color blind!
When we went to the ranch there was a 66? Lincoln 4dr Continental sitting next to an out building or extra ranch house. It was sitting under an open shed and looked weathered. I wonder if it has been moved or sold. That’s been over 20 years ago and things may have changed over time.

I do believe that ‘10 touring was presented to an absentee LBJ in Fredericksburg TX on the 17th Annual Texas Tour sponsored by the Alamo City Horseless Club of America in June of 1970. I had to go out to a display case and find the multicolored brass tour plaque to relay this info. Which begs the question: Whatever happened to those beautiful multicolored tour plaques that we attached to radiators ? Used to get ‘em on $25 tours and now there’s nothing from $195 tours….
