I recently saw The Absent Minded Professor movie dated 1961, and just loved the movie and the flying model T.
Was the T a 1915 or 1916 touring?
Our whole family watched the Wonderful World of Disney every Sunday evening, including the movie on TV; lots of good memories.

1915 with a few later parts, the wheels and headlight glass are a couple of them.

One of my kids told me they watched that movie at the YMCA summer camp and I asked her “Did you tell your friends that you have a car just like that?” She just looked at me and said “no” I said “why not” she said “Ours don’t fly...”
I thought to myself “oh well” 😂 what can you do?

The car(s) used in that movie were narrowed and may have been shortened considerably.
There was a discussion years ago on the old forum about the car and what was done to it for the movie.
One of the cars was hung from the ceiling and had a wax figure of Fred McMurray along with a stuffed dog in the front seat at the Movieland Wax Museum on Beach Blvd. in Buena Park, California, before it closed down years ago.
All the displays and furnishings were auctioned off. The squashed Model T from the Laurel and Hardy film went to the Peterson Automobile Museum in L. A. I have no clue where the Absent Minded Professor car wound up.
