I just noticed this today: "* REQUIRED* Type and Year of Model Ts owned:" in the profile's over on the right when looking at the postings. I check mine and also see it on my profile page.
Did I miss an announcement? Does this mean if I no longer own or am looking to buy a Model T I can't sign up or post? Or is it just a glitch?

That is odd that the "required" is in the line.I bet that is a typo.
I guess it is to help keep away riff raff or spammers?

Do i need to scan my registration for my pickup and post it?

It may just be some text (* Required*) added to prefix what was there before. The only audit that could be performed on this field is that it is not blank, so anything could be entered even 'xxxxx'
Don't remember my HTML code so I'm not sure if the heading from the profile page are being retrieved with the values as well

When you add a comment to a discussion some of these values are repeated with headings. It appears that the HTML code included * Required*... heading for this page unnecessarily

Thanks Chris. I wondered if that was the case, RE: AI making posts.

I figured it was to discourage the Nigerian Princes and the AI Casino ads.

Seems to be working. I haven’t seem an Bot postings lately
