Where does this mount? On the front seat kick panel?
Thanks in advance.

It mounts along the passenger front door pillar for the 26-27 fire wall mounted fuel tank.

I’ve never seen one but judging by the ad “ for late model Fords with the gas tank under the hood” leads me to believe it connects to the ‘New and Improved’ sediment bulb. If so, I’d think this accessory would be fairly unnecessary because it’s easy to lift the gas filler lid, unscrew the gas cap and get the wood gauge out to check gas level. Now the earlier Model T s with gas tanks under the seat requires your lady to get out and you wrestle the seat springs to check the gas. That gas sight gauge accessory of the era that’s still being reproduced today makes a lot more sense.

People wanted convenience just as much back then as now! You could sit in your seat and see that you were getting the gas you payed for.

So, “if you could sit in your seat” in a Ford with the gas tank under the hood......Where Does This Go ??! Mark??

I had one on my 27 Roadster. It was attached on the passenger side pillar where the kick panel attaches. And yes you can see it from the seat.

OK, I’m a visual kinda guy and now I see where that accessory gas gauge is planted. But how is it integrated into that ‘upside down question mark’ New and Improved gas line ? I wrongly assumed it fastened to the sediment bulb.
