1910 car identification

This photo was supposedly taken in 1910.
The car looks similar to the pre T Fords but I don’t think it is but sort of similar to the style from that era.

Jerry is absolutely correct- it’s a REO - single cylinder - 1908-09. It could be a 1910 but that’s unlikely since it has a Michigan prestate license number painted on the front. Michigan issued plates in 1910.

The Michigan website said the pic was taken in 1910. Those of you that really know the very early cars can tell if it’s a 1910. I guess it was a new car to this family in front of their house. But I’m guessing if it’s their house! It does look like it’s pretty new.
I didn’t think it was a Ford auto for sure because of the front appearance of the car. To me this Reo might have been higher priced than a Ford.

It is definitely a REO but it is a 1905 or 1906 model.

I’m with Peter… It’s a 1907 +- Model B REO. I know because I restored a ‘07 that looks just like it. Its currently being displayed at the New Braunfels Conservation Society. Except; my research revealed it should have bale handled front kerosene lamps. Couldn’t find any (Dietz Dainty) so I used large E&J 3 tiered round flared front most notably supplied on EMFs.

I'd be willing to bet it's their house. That hard to read sign sure looks like it says "Dr. Jas (maybe) so-n-so"...
They look to be pretty well off, probably practices in the back of the house somewhere. What a gorgeous house. Nice REO also!

Nope…. Come to think of it - my ‘07 had wood fenders made by Vic Groah and no running boards.
