Speedometer installation problem

The mounting bracket isn’t squared up to spindle arm. I don’t think the clamp on the mount is movable. I believe it’s welded in place. I haven’t tried moving it for fear of breaking it. Anyone?

The clamp is a separate piece and should be lose on the spindle nut extension, and should be able to rotate. Remove the bolt in the end and tap the clamp until it breaks loose.

That was the issue, just painted on there pretty good. A nice tap in the clamp freed it up.

Looks like powder coated glued/melted on. You may need to heat it up to loosen it.
