Hi Folks

Has anybody a method to install Rocky Mountain brakes or something similar for my speedster which has small drums and Pasco wire wheels. ?

The small drums were relined but are not good for much except as an E brake. Thanks Andy .

Hi Andy,
Most brake verses wheel issues can be solved by spacing the wheels out to get the needed clearance. Best I recall Pasco wheels bolt to the wire
wheel bolt pattern so spacers may be had on line. & you will need bolts to accommodate the spacing. Keep in mind that spacing the wheels out
will add stress to the wheel bearings & axles so be diligent with those parts.
Craig.

Your Pasco wheels will work just fine with accessory brakes. Bear end mind that the hub bolts are specifically for the Pasco wheel as the both secure the hub/drum but are also the drive pins. If stacking the second drum for the Rockies your bolts will probably be too short. In a speedster or roadster I’d probably stick to a small drum AC brake. If you need to replace your hub bolts you’ll probably have to have some made. I recommend contacting Kevin Pharis about that.
