Post by Unprr » Fri Nov 24, 2023 9:15 pm

Does anyone know the vender still making the castings of the Steven’s reaming tool. If so, how is the quality?
Trysting to order one.

I bought the tool that Jack has been
reproducing and think it’s very good quality.
I have loaned it to several folks who used it successfully and have only gotten back positive
results. Dan Hatch on this forum has reproduced
the reamer and the threaded inserts which also
work very well and are high quality too.

George, I have the Stevens frame made by Jack and reamers reproduced by Dan, I have repaired over 16 front axles. Tool and reamers work fantastic.

Be aware Dan has no plans currently on having anymore reamers made, hopefully you have the reamers if your only looking for the frame.

Thanks for the replies. I best get word to Dan and see if he is still making the reamers.
