Brake rods
The brake rods that came with my 1911 project are straight, but the ones in the suppliers catalogs have a couple of bends in them. What should the brake rods look like? Here is a picture of mine and the ones in a Langs catalog. Art

Haven't got an 11 to look at the moment but, if of any help parts book shows straight and in 1912 changed to show the same as langs.

Re: Brake rods
Straighten yours so they look right, up and over the radius rods. The early ones are hard to find.

Re: Brake rods
'26-'27 rods were straight. Be sure you haven't got a pair of those.

Royce has a great summary of 1911 car features on his site. You have to be a member of the site to see it.
