Heres One For The X Spurts

I’ve looked through my front spring perches to find two pairs for a friend. It I found this 5th from the left with a larger thread diameter. The shank diameter is the same as all others but their smaller thread diameter is uniform….
Non Ford supplier ? Anyone else seen this ?

Notice how short it is…? I suspect this one may have been shortened and re-threaded for use with a trailer, lowering bracket, etc…

Kevin beat me to it - stripped threads were re-threaded & used for "something" other than a T.

When I made the lowering brackets for my speedster I did just that, cut 2 old perches with ruined threads shorter and re threaded them to fit.

Good idea Mack. Anybody want this cut off spring perch for the cost of mailing ?? After all, theres plenty of cut off touring pickups out there…Thanks to all responses.
