Jeez! Deal of the year! I hope one of us snaps that up quick and puts it to the proper use. There are not enough pan straightening services out there. This seller must not know what he has! Looks like he is using it as a work bench. Jim Patrick

Looks very much like what I started with when I rebuilt the one for the model T Museum.

Jim be sure you have it Blanchard ground once you get everything off. You’ll want it nice a level on the table. Great deal. You’re about $1300 ahead of the game. I believe Adam makes several pieces you’ll need to complete it.
Best John

Thanks guy's, But it 's no jewel, going to take some work to get it back in shape. It has had the holes welded shut and other holes bored into it. I haven't had time look close at it but I think somebody welded the legs along the side. I'll have to spend some time on it come spring. Jim PS. Thanks Rodell for posting about it.

Well its a damn good start.
Cheaper than buying a thick plate. Hole dimensions/prints have been posted here in the past.
With a little work you'll really have a fine piece of equipment.
Good on ya.

It’s a good bet the Ford T pan jigs wound up as a blacksmith anvil or welding table along the way. It’s amazing lots of them didn’t wind up all banged up and sold for the weight at the scrapyards. But you can bet more tha a few did.
Glad this one survived!

I found one in a marina on Lake Washington that was being used as a "surface plate" for aluminum outboard motor heads - 40 years ago - might still be there ! Old timer wouldn't sell it.

Jim take your time with it, you soon have all kind of help and new friends once restored. In the process when you start to inspect it, you’ll need some help but turn it over and inspect the cast webbing for cracks and runs from the crack. Those will need to be repaired before your start using it. If I can help with measurements or dimensions. Let me know, again Adam is making a few parts for the pan jig tables that you’ll need down the road. Best of luck. John
