Does anyone know by any chance, how hard it is to fix a leaking oil pan? Mine is leaking and I don't quite know how to fix it.

Clean up the oil pan the best you can from the bottom. Crawl under the car and use some spray degreaser or something similiar. Wipe around all the engine block and transmission area bolts the best you can.
Start your car up and let it run with a sheet of cardboard under to give you an idea where the pan is dripping from. It could be coming from several different areas. Picture will help.
Sometimes they start leaking around the pan arms. They were brazed on at the factory and after many years begin to leak.

Oil seeping through a loose rivet can be difficult to see when it runs down a black pan. Someone posted how to use a powder to apply to the area that would easily highlight the path of the leak and determine the source.
I've tried talc powder or white flour to find the source of a leak.

You could also use florescent dye and black light to find the leak.

I guess I should specifically ask. Where was the leak, How did you find it, & how did you fix it?
Or did I miss this?
