Our local T club went on a visit to a collection of all sorts of stuff today. I was intrigued with this machine. Not bad for late 19th century stuff. I could make room for it any day.

I was born in Waltham, MA. At the time it had a lot of industry, including the Waltham Watch Company. I have a 1928 Waltham Conqueror which is age-appropriate for my '27 T.

Had one of those 3 tool units many years ago, only it was a modern cheap piece of junk!

Thank you for the links Scott. Fascinating to see the development of the machines in just 20 years. Anyone know what that multiple chuck head in the first video might be called?

That is an indexable turret.
