My brake light switch went down so I had to replace it. This is a genuine Hella product, like the one it replaces. They are easy to mount, easy to access and easy to adjust.

Oh for the Fun Projects brake light switch kit. It was worth the price for the bracket alone.

Terry, I'm all dressed up ready to go to lunch. I'll see what I can do later. Briefly, i bolted a little bracket to the running board support. It's angled so the plunger is in line with the pull. I used a pull wire fastened around the brake pedal. That wire is a piece of hi-test welding wire. It is adjusted to length to suit the application, leaving a couple of inches of wire spare so later adjustments can be made if required.

I liked the fact that I could still buy a replacement for the one that failed. No modifications were needed for this replacement.
