I think he's just getting his wallet out from between the cushions... the upside down pie wqgon is problematic, as I've had cakes fall in the oven...

First pic is sure nice and sharp!
Then..what's with the obsession of having people standing or sitting on hoods! Especially small kids.
Lastly...the drive across the pontoon bridge had to be a bit of a strange feel. Couldn't be very solid feeling.

Oh yeh!! Good eye. Also looks like got some sort of funky shock absorbers on the front axle.

I wonder where number 11 is? There is a beach called Grover Beach near Pismo Beach in California where we drive the Model T's on the California Dremin' tour.

Picture number four has some interesting details. After studying it closely, I suspect the windshield has been changed to an earlier one. The windshield clearly has the even folding hinges used 1915 into mid 1917. However, the "H" lenses in the headlamps first came about very late in 1921. A reflection of the child's white clothing in the windshield makes it difficult to be sure what type of horn button the car has. The windshield to cowl mounting brackets appear to be late 1917 or later style with bolts in from the side. Limited detail and closeup not showing some things make it difficult to be certain of much. Can't be sure of earlier or later front spring/engine mount But the marginally visible front axle appears to have an under axle wishbone (mid 1919 onward).
No oil sidelamps, however, the windshield brackets have the mounting discs for them. So is it a later car with the electrics package or not? A non-electrics car with sidelamps removed? Maybe an earlier car with later headlamp lenses? Or a later car with an earlier windshield?
Some of these silly cars never were put together the way they were supposed to be!

Oh, and one other thing I intended to mention. I love that radiator cap and Motometer!
In spite of the fact it is like wearing a belt and suspenders. It is not the first era photograph I have seen with this, however, "wings" and a "dogbone" were usually not used on the same cap.

Yep. Sometimes they weren't right even when they were nearly new.

I just love this one, you get taken back in time when looking at it closely !
