Hi all,
What suggestions do you all have for replacing the small brass plugs that seal the carb passageways? They're made of brass originally, I believe. Can I use heavy copper copper wire, or does it have to be brass? Thanks for your help.

Stan Howe suggested using set screws for the next time https://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/1 ... 1279536155

Just be sure you don’t thread the screw in so far as to block the passage way.

I had brass screws on a shelf that worked.

Copper wire of appropriate gage would be fine, many use brass filler rod. I've used brass rod 'tinned' with solder to insure a tighter fit.

I've had no trouble using Uncle Stan's method.
