American Bosch ignition switch

I recently finished my American Bosch ignition switch for my new dash on my 23 roadster. The car has an AB type 448 distributor too. I bought an original wire loom and am getting to the point of connecting the loom to the switch. I don’t have experience with a stock model t switch or ignition system/ operation. Looking at the connections, it seems to all be very similar to a stock switch. My plan was to connect wires like stock. Magneto coil wire would be the same for my distributor coil wire right? Also, how would you operate this switch for starting and running but on a distributor system? Is key turned to mag or battery for running on a distributor? Large switch is headlight on/high, off and dim lights right? Also, what type of bulb would be used with this type of connector ? Simple question, but I don’t want to be chasing my tail connecting this and trying to get it started. Thanks!

Let's see the backside of your switch - I have the same on my Racer w/dual plug distributor.

As Steve indicated a picture of the back to confirm its the same - I have the AB switch plate as well, but not hooked to anything.
The documentation I have is for a Model 600, don't see why it would b different. Also a one page for a front plate that uses the same distributor body

These instructions are for a Model 600 and there are several ways to set it up depending on how you want to run it (IMPORTANT)

Here are some Distributor wiring diagrams, minor differences for lights. Click on image to enlarge. Use your backing terminal ID's to match to diagrams.

Although I do not recommend it, one can run a jumper wire from the "mag." terminal to the "coil" terminal so one can switch either bat or mag & still get juice to the coil.

Thanks for the compliment. Lots of planning and hours went into it. Even traveled to Mass. to see two original modified T’s with engine turned dashes at Lang’s for my research. Happy with the results, attached is the car it’s in. Thanks!
