Got back about 2 hrs ago. Found everything on my shopping list except four items. I was happy. May go again tomorrow if the weather holds

Will: What they say on the internet is “ No pictures it didn’t happen “.

Where are the pictures?

Some sun, some rain, some clouds, but a great day, regardless. A few pics from today.

Been a long time since I’ve seen a set of lights for sale!!
That is what I like about Luray, almost as good as Hershey. Plus you don’t have to look any 57 Chevys.

Wish I could have been there this year. Dan

Just got back home, every year I say do not know if it is worth the drive but for some reason my truck was full on the ride home. It might have rained but it did not stop people for long to go shopping!

Here is a 1910 block, something you don't see every day.

I found everything I was looking for, including early brass stuff. Great swap meet!

I should have taken more pictures. I find it hard to look at stuff and then take pics. Lots to see and share. Well, maybe next year.

On the way home they where working on the road heading north so we had to take a detour, I can see the wonderful time it would be to take a T around those back roads, all the little hills and curves!

Our Model T club had a tour in that area about a year ago. It was great.

Another great swap meet at Luray. I like connecting with friends I only get to see there, making new ones, and meeting people from the forum, I would not get to meet otherwise. It is always a good time, nice location, and I always do well with parts sales. Cant wait for next year !

Here's a thought:
For the guys/gals who couldn't make it to these great swap meets:
Sellers, why not take photos of your tables of items that you didn't sell and then post the photos and contact info on the parts page?
That way, those like me who couldn't attend, could see items that we need and have a way to get those items. I would have been looking for a 25 coil box lid with slanted sides.
Thanks

Two gentlemen, Don & Jim, had a few slant lids. Contact the host and see if they can connect you. Location was in the middle rows

John: Just go to classified page and post a WTB ad for a coil box lid. I know I have some. Dan

Technically, isn't the 1925 and later (TT?) lid slightly different than the earlier years? If I recall correctly, the snap-lever catch is stamped into the end's metal as opposed to attached to it? Frankly, I wouldn't care about that minor difference if I had a 1925 car. I would be happy with whichever style was quickly available. But, that is me. Although it really is better to have the correct part if it isn't too much trouble.
