Does anyone have a source for a Viton tipped Needle? It’s for a 1913 Holley S carburetor. It measures 7/8” long by 1/4” wide. I don’t need the seat, only the needle. Also any gaskets out there?

Have you checked with Scott Conger? I don't know if he makes needles for the S but it is worth asking. Search for him using the "Extra Quick Links" button above right.

No R in Viton.
Viton rubber is a type of Fluoroelastomer that has a highly unique molecular structure and composition. Manufactured from a combination of hexafluoropropylene (HFP) and vinylidene fluoride (VDF), resulting in material with exceptional chemical resistance, high-temperature stability, and excellent mechanical properties.
When I worked for Chrysler back in the 70s there was a recall that was related to them not using Viton in an accelerator pump instead of rubber that cost them millions.

If my NH experience is any indication, Viton tip needles sometimes stick. That's why I prefer original type needles. If Scott makes a float valve for your carburetor, that's the way to go.

Ditto, those tips tend to hang for some reason.
