OT: The mechanical age and how we would be monitoring time analogue (Circa 1911)

Huntingdon Pennsylvania. USA. Brief history - first Tower Clock 1872. Destroyed by Fire 1910. New Seth Thomas Works 1911. Functioned till 1950's, fell to neglect from WWII. Electrified 1958. Original super structure in place. Electric functioned till 2014. Reconstructed 2023/24, as built by Seth Thomas 1911 works. New works is all mechanical with weights. Up dated with electric weight lift assist. Installed 21 May 2024. Fully installed and functioning with tolling bells.

Yes it is not a Model T - but covers topic discussed - it is from 1911, it has gears, there is pin-striping, the colour green, visible brass, and it is heavy.
