I was going to add a license plate bracket to the front the other day and when I looked I saw this. A lock washer, a washer and no cotter key. That’s not right, is it? Do I need to reinstall any washers? Just the bracket, nuts and cotter key?
It won’t let me add a picture….

Re: Front Spring Installation
Install a flat washer for a license plate bracket, but no lock washer when using a castle nut and cotter pin.
Good idea to check all your front end bolts for castle nuts and cotter pins while you are down there.
