Hello,
The parts houses (Lang's, et. al) sell a "T1613" bracket that I believe is correct for a 1911-12 touring (pictured.) The back has a little bit of a slope to match the contour of the body. Now I've also run across a few where the back is straight up and down, which I believe were used on roadsters up until 1913 or 1914. The sloped brackets are marked "T1613." My question is, what is the part number for the "straight" brackets used for roadsters? I've looked through whatever parts catalogs i could find, but none of them seem to have early tail light brackets. Any thoughts?

Maybe these Factory Numbers help, but no pictures of what the shapes would be.

The one in your post is typical, and the repro sold by Lang's (3660A) iron has that slope, but think that helps to pitch the lamp up a bit to be more visible.

April 1 1914 Parts and Price List:
p/n 3660 Factory No. T-2634 Bracket, tail 13-14 (also for Torpedo [i.e. Runabout})

Bruce's C-D Encyl states:

p/n 3660 Factory No. T-1613 Bracket, tail 09-14 Touring

p/n 3660 Factory No. T-2634 Bracket, tail 11-14 (after 1912) Runabout

Same p/n is given, so perhaps that is the change in slope as the Factory No. are different. Factory No. are marked on parts.

Here is one that came with a 13 Touring I parted out a few years ago. I thought Touring were long and Roadster were short.
