Don’t Ever….

Drive your Model T while wearing clogs, especially if you wear size 13’s and it’s not an “improved” car.
Never even thought of it, had been working on the car and was just taking it for a quick spin down the road. Clog got wedged between low and reverse pedals and then the other one fell off the brake pedal and also got caught. Turned the key off to stop.
Wouldn’t recommend it.

The improved models are also sized for dainty feet, especially reverse.

Yet another reason to NEVER wear clogs!

If "clogs" are the same thing as "Crocks", I guess I'd better be careful. Because of my feet problems, "Crocks" are about the only footwear that I wear.

If I am going to drive my T and I can remember to do it, I put on my sharp toed,"roach stomper" western boots, no trouble getting caught between the pedals wearing them

Nothing wrong with bare feet on rubber pedal pads.

Don't have 13's but just pulled the fire truck back into the garage with size 8 safety toe tactical boots & that was a challenge. I usually wear
western boots when driving also but not when working in the garage.

To each his own, but I hate clogs and can’t imagine myself wearing them. I also have never owned nor worn sandals or flip flops. Only work shoes, athletic shoes, or dress shoes for my size 14 feet. Jim Patrick

I usually wear my steel-toed work boots and don’t especially like to wear these clogs or crocks or whatever but they are much cooler and we’ve had some really hot (for us) weather here in western N.Y. If I’m going for any kind of distance in any of my T’s, I normally wear my geeky looking dress shoes that are really too narrow. Thanks again, Henry, for the pedal spacing mean for children.

I measured the shoes I'm wearing now and they're 4 7/8" wide. Wide feet is my problem when driving.

Would Italian "driving shoes" be considered non-original when driving your T?
