That Ol boy ninth pic from the bottom looks like hes grasping the crank handle with the thumb on the wrong side. And I hope hes not fixin’ to push down from the 3 o’clock position

Notice the "Veeder" odometer on the d.s. front hub on photo #1 - company keeping track of mileage !

The first picture of the Red Crown gasoline company car is a really decked out T. Looks like it may have dirty white wall tires. Wish we could tell for sure if the car is black or a dark red color but it’s probably black. Neat car.

My TT served it's life as a Parcel Delivery truck in Oakland CA...

Hey Vern, Them there look like jus' lil' puppies!

Apologies for the "accent", no offense intended to anyone. But there used to be people in my family that would say it that way. And sometimes I remember them fondly and hear it that way in my head.


Photo number one, the Polarine business car. It appears to be an early 1917, with the horn button on top of the steering column, and the even folding windshield.

Jumping down to picture number eight, appears to be a touring car, later 1917 or very early 1918 model, with the horn button on top of the steering column and the later offset folding windshield!

Photos numbers two and sixteen are interesting mid era speedsters. Different cars but in similar basic speedster style. Number sixteen still has nice paint on the radiator shell and hood, and a nice looking Motometer, can't tell for sure if it has a really nice cap under it or not. A reflection on the window sill behind it makes it hard to be sure. Note the Hassler shock absorbers.
Number two also looks really nice for a "farm special". Note this one has H & D style shock absorbers.
Number fifteen is a nice looking center-door sedan. It appears to may have the 1921 only headlamp lenses. Again, not really certain due to the angle of the photo doesn't show them well enough. (Reflections of the horizon on the inside reflector can fool a person!)

All in all, another wonderful looks back into the past.

It amazes me every time that in these old photos you often see T's in situations you wouldn't even dare tackle with anything but a sturdy 4x4 today
