Daisy was born on or about March 2nd 1914.
One thing that has been in my possession for decades is a newsprint from the LA Times saved (along with other vintage front page news by my Great Grandma Annie Elizabeth (my Model A named in her honor)). Anyway, it's been buried in a box until it came to mind recently and I dug it out...to find it was printed one month (April 5, 1914) after Daisy came to be....
Have you ever wondered what bathing suits were like back then? What's even funnier, these were the freakishly naughty scandalous ones that year as fashion goes.... the text is hysterical....

Down here in Florida the beaches are filled with bare butts and just enough to cover some of the nipples, Yet for me times are good!
As Tom Sellick told Marston in the movie Quigley Down Under, I told you I dont have much use for handguns, I never said I didn't know how to use them!

Given these are coined as the "freak" outlandish suits, one has to wonder what the "normal" suits were like!!!
Will, I'm in PCB FL, where in my experience here on this beach is that there is an inverse relationship between the size/weight of a female and the amount of fabric they're wearing.
Guaranteed those wearing thongs, ought not to be.... not the kind of bare butt's ya want to take a pic of John!!

The beach here is just a stones throw from the Florida Institute of Technology so the scenery can be mixed. Once in a while I take the T down to the beach and the ladies love it, Iv had to tell them to use a little judgment as the seats can get very hot against the missing insulation. From Nov to May the scenery matures greatly. My grandson came for a visit once and this XYL sporting her wears was parading back and forth in front of us, My wife was not happy with that at all! Of course my grandson who was 7 years old had no idea what was going on but the look on my wife's face said it all.
