Transporting parts from Canada to sell at Hershey, can it be done, are there import issues, fees, duties, taxes, etc.? I have the opportunity for someone from Canada to bring me some Model T parts to sell me at Hershey and save the cost of shipping, but I see potential issues at the border. Anyone done this recently and can share their experience?

Not sure if this is any help, but I bought an antique phonograph some years ago in Windsor, ONT. It was not a problem because #1, it was an "antique", and #2, it was originally made in USA and returning home, so to speak.

In your case, I would guess that any trouble that might be had, would be on the part of the Canadian seller. It will be interesting to hear more, from those who have done it.

My experience over the years is that it is MUCH easier for a “citizen” to import something over the border than it is for them to “export” something that doesn’t have a designated new owner

How about exporting from Canada to a US buyer after the sale... just shipping it?

What I am getting is exporting car parts from Canada by a Canadian driving across the border is too much trouble.
