Northern ILL to KY or TN...?

Post by csnailnrun » Thu Jun 13, 2019 4:36 pm

Checking to see if anyone has summer travels plans to be passing by Bob's Antique Auto outside Chicago towards KY &/or TN? Or Northern OH?

He's a radiator I'd like to pick up without paying an arm and leg in shipping.

I could pick it up but might be a few years before you see it. It will be tested to make sure it works.

Still holding out hope. Shipping quotes are coming in at 150 and higher.
Anyone traveling from Northern ILL to KY, TN or Northern OH in the near-ish future?

Did you talk Bob's about securing it to a pallet and shipping via Fastenall? Rockford is a pretty good sized town so there has to be one fairly close to Loves Park.

Have you thought of shipping them via Greyhound bus?

Ryan,
I have the radiator from Bob's in my possession. I am re-packaging so that it will fit in my daughter's car trunk. She and her spouse will be in Nashville July 27th thru July 29th. I will give her your contact information so that you can pick it up. By the way, it is a very nice radiator.
