I was puzzled by the license plate as the state seems to be behind the lower radiator trim. That numbering system and letter style appears to be a 1926 New York. That would make it an older car for this photo. Is he adjusting the carburetor or checking dinner on the manifold? Also he is standing in a puddle. It must have been a great trip and the hat is very fine.
What fun?
Thanks
Rich
When did I do that?

Side curtains on, no coat. Probably a rain puddle.
30X3" front tires, electric headlights and lower wishbone. Back curtain windows are 19-22 ?

The sad part about this picture is that in a few years it will appear in a history book and the students will be told that it is a picture of George Washington on his way to Valley Forge to visit the troops! :o :o

I think the headlight lens on the left is about to fall out.

Star for you Dave! Yep, windows show '19 to early '22, later they went to the two openings.

Quote from the guy: "Dang, forgot to put the oil in before I left"! ;)

Don't know but if you didn't have to stop there and stand in water if you didn't have to would you ?
Forget everything you thought you knew.
