Can someone provide a picture or instructions on mounting this switch I just purchased from Langs. I can’t seem to place it correctly. [image]

Did it come with any information sheet or anything?
Usually lang's is good with including an instruction sheet with the things i've bought.
Maybe call them on Monday morning?

No, nothing came with it. I will call them if I can’t get anything by Monday.

Appears to mount on the LH frame rail with the switch end pointing toward the brake pedal shaft. The cam action of the pedal moves the end of it toward the switch plunger.

Dan is correct. From Lang's website listing on the item: " This switch mounts on the frame next to the brake pedal and lines up with the shaft going into the hogs head. As you press down on the pedal it also moves left due to the cam on the out side. This left movement activates the switch."

Thanks guys. I will take a look at it tomorrow. Does this require a hole being drilled in the frame?

No. It clamps on the frame rail by those 2 bolts.

Here what the say. Looks like a bit of trial & error to get it to depress

The top plate goes over the frame rail and the lower plate nests inside of the rail to constrain the unit. I would heat shrink the terminations, I went to adjust mine and turned the switch by accident, shorting out the terminal to the unit and blowing the bulb.

The best setup I have seen for a brake light switch is to us a momentary off (off when the button is pressed) combined with the earlier flat inspection cover. I believe an 80's GM switch is a good source. Mounting is done on the hoggshead where the switch is depressed when the pedal is all the way back. Once the pedal is moved the switch button is released and the light comes on. It doesn't matter if the pedal is depressed 1 inch or to the floorboards, the brake comes on. Unlike other systems that rely on a button to be depressed or closed once the pedal activates which must be compensated with a spring or become a stop for the pedal.
