Could someone direct me to where I could go and get component diameters and
bearing clearances for the transmission. looking for information on what is the
minimum and maximum clearance between the shafts and bushing.

T1 service manual is clear on acceptable limits. .006" is too worn/loose.

I would take Joe up on the offer. I have taken apart transmissions that where so sloppy I didn't know how they even worked but they did &
where smooth & quite & some that where set up so tight that all the bushings where seized to the shaft they where supposed to turn on &
turning in the bore they where supposed to be pressed into. Joe has the tools to do it wright.

Using old time tooling that included fixed reamers is ideal on new parts. However, there can be a better way with worn parts. Gear shafts wear where the bushes run, leaving the gears proud of the worn shaft surface. This can be compensated for by machining the bushes for a slight interference fit over the gears. When the drums are assembled, this interference fit is abetter fit on the worn section of the shaft.
