New carpets for my '24 touring

I decided to give my '24 touring some new carpets, as the first set I made were getting a bit worse for wear! I made the new ones from durable carpet tiles, joined together. I found the carpet tiles to be heavier than normal carpet, and as a result, it doesn't keep skidding around!
Let me know what you think 🤔

Neat concept, but will the adhesive withstand the hot sun?

The carpet isnt glued to the floor, its just sitting there, it has a sort of non-slip grip surface on the back, which is sitting directly on the original rubber mat underneath.

Ok so you adhered the self stick carpet tiles to a mat of some sort. Curious because I wanted to carpet my car but having it removable with a thin flexible rubber backing I could seal the pedal gaps up a little without interference, for winter cruising.
