Does anyone know if the sub frame from a 1926 T Coupe will work
for a 26 Roadster?

What do you mean by "sub frame"? If you just mean "frame", then yes, it should work with either body style.

It is the lower structure that the body attaches to and then that mounts to the frame.

I don't know about the coupe, but the Roadster and Touring have that part as part of the all steel body. Only the strip to which the trim is tacked and the floorboards are wood on those bodies. There are also wood strips behind the seat backrests.

I picked up some roadster parts from a T owner and they have a stripped sub-frame in their shop
where they removed the seat area and cowl from it.
I have another owner that has a stripped sub-frame from a Coupe. Without having the two side by side
I don't know if they are the same. Some body parts from each model are the same so I am hoping that
sub-frames are the same.

For your research….

Don Booth’s photo of the Coupe underbody is here:

Roger Karlsson’s Roadster underbody is here:

Snyder’s body blocks are the same for both bodies.

Hey HumbleJ,
If the 1926 sub frame is already stripped do you think it could be adapted for
a roadster/PU application. It is in really good shape. I can drive about an hour and a half to get actual measurements
from the roadster sub frame I saw.

I do not know if it can be adapted or not, or where the differences are, but it is certenly more effort than I would want to take on.

I think you are right. Time to look for the right part.
It might take awhile but we will find one.

Thanks for all the help and info
